A subpar doll photo before bed, because she got a new wig today and even though I was hoping PeachPink would be more Peach and less Pink, I think she works it.  I officially give up on trying to make her into the tough girl I want her to be.  She is my foofy pink princess.
One day, I will get that glorious scorpion tail painted.  And get her default faceup enhanced so it doesn’t look so bland.
But dammit, she’s awesome anyway.
I will try to get some actual, decent photos of her over the weekend.  She is overdue for some.

I will always be in love with her gorgeous Vesuvia photos. Why can’t I ever get mine to look so ethereal?

Lotheili is a Soom Vesuvia Poison kiss with the default faceup.  She is wearing Doll Family horns and the default outfit from Fairyland’s Chloe Moon Light.

My photos are not to be used for memes/confessions, etc.

These pics were taken by a Ringdoll fan who’s from United States.

Lotheili and Theophaelin, my Frankenstein and Vesuvia.  I can’t remember if I posted these or not, so here they are.  Thanks to the wonderful folks at Ringdoll for liking my photos.

I found….clothes….that fit her.  And I don’t have to modify them to accommodate that tail or anything.
This trade for the Fairyland Chloe is working out much better than anticipated.  In addition to the doll herself, both Vesuvia and Iris (the Soom Cuprit) got brand-new outfits.

Today’s doll photos. It’s been a while since I’ve shot anything I like.

30 Day BJD Challenge: Day 20

Day 20: What is your dream doll?

I have three that are all about equal in the overall scheme of things.  I am lucky enough to own two of them.  I’ll talk about these two here and save the 3rd for another post.

The first is a Soom Beryl Never-Ending Dream.  She is the first doll I ever fell hard for and, like so many others, I came to the hobby too late to be able to buy her from the company.  I loved her pouty face.  She was the first realistic sculpt I had seen with major attitude, and I wanted her from the first time I saw her.  It took me over a year to find her and, in the end, I drastically overpaid for what she was worth.  I didn’t care then.  I still don’t care now.  Now that I have her, I’m surprised by the range of expression she has.  From pouty to full-on pissed to incredibly melancholy.  She is one of my most versatile dolls.

The second was another Soom girl, Vesuvia Poison Kiss.  It took her a while to grow on me. Soom severely mis-marketed her and failed to bring out the beauty of her sculpt. She looked young and, well, trampy. It was a bad combination, IMO.

It was only after I started seeing owner photos of her that I realized how mature, elegant and beautiful she was, and how I’d really missed out by being so quick to pass on her.  Given how rare she is (I think she might be the least-produced MD doll ever), I figured I would never be lucky enough to snag her.   Again, I drastically overpaid.  Again, I don’t care.

Added bonuses:  Pearly! violet skin and  giant, jointed scorpion tail, which you can see part of in this photo.

30 Day BJD Challenge: Day 17

Day 17: What is your favourite item of dolly clothing?

All of my love to this dress and that enormous hat of epic win. It’s Anneka’s, but modeled here by Vesuvia.

The ladies of Soom.  Of course it started raining right as I went to start taking photos for this set.  You can see raindrops on the blue dress.  Hot and sunny all day right up until I picked up the camera.  Damn you, weather.
