Oh noes….not the chain mail scare! I cannot suffer the fate of a thousand broken chain mails, so here we go…
- Every time I see a cat, my immediate response is to say “Baby!” in the same tone most people use when addressing, well, babies. I do this every time. Even in public. Even in crowded places. I cannot make myself stop.
- I lived in Florida for about 6 months when I was four and nearly died three times.
- I once broke a bone (my clavicle) just from rolling out of bed.
- I once broke a bone (something or another in my wrist) as a direct result of a NASCAR driver’s tardiness.
- There was a point in my life when I was a rabid NASCAR fan. You know those kids who love Justin Bieber. Like that. Except with NASCAR.
- I loathe smartphones. I loathe them with the kind of rage that almost eclipses description. If I could buy a gadget that would disable the phone/data signal of every single smartphone within 50 meters of me, I would buy that thing right now and never…EVER…turn it off.
- I am over 30 and still have 3 baby teeth. Yay, weird genetics.
- I watch maybe two hours of television a week. Unfortunately, those two hours are usually episodes of Pawn Stars.
- I have written close to a million words of original fiction and finished three novels. They’re not horrible. I have absolutely no desire whatsoever to try to get them published.
- I put way too much thought into things that ultimately don’t matter. Case in point: I just spent over half an hour trying to figure out how to answer this.

- do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotels? No. I leave them be. They are incredibly harsh on my hair.
- where is your next vacation? I am planning a road trip through the national parks of southern Utah.
- who do you think reads these? Probably no one, but who knows.
- do you have a calendar in your room? No. I do have two elsewhere in my apartment. Both are from 2012 (Current date March 13, 2013.)
- what’s your plan for the day? Well, it is already almost 6:30 PM, so eat, read a few chapters of a book, and go to sleep.
- are you reading any books right now? A few. The Quantum Thief by Hannu Rajaniemi, The Daylight War by Peter V. Brett, and I am listening to A Dance With Dragons by George R. R. Martin on audiobook.

- do you ever dance even if there’s no music playing? You cannot silence the jukebox in my mind! So, um, more often than I should.

- do you still watch cartoons? Indeed. Futurama is still one of my favorites.

- what do you dip chicken nuggets in? I have a thing for Burger King’s Kung Pao sauce at the moment…or I did until they changed their chicken nuggets and made them crappy.
- what is your favorite food/cuisine? Sushi.
- what movies could you watch over and over and still love? A lot. Tombstone, Inception, GoldenEye, anything from the MCU, The Great Mouse Detective, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Hollow Crown. Many. Many. Others.
- when was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper? I wrote a card to Jacobinesque for her birthday. Does that count?
- can you change the oil on a car? In general, yes. On my particular car, no. Same for the battery.
- best thing to eat for breakfast? I don’t eat breakfast. Any form of food eaten before 10 AM makes me want to puke.
- what is your usual bedtime? 11 - 11:30 PM. Needs to be earlier, really, especially since my neighbors usually wake me up at 4:30 and I can’t get back to sleep.
